Brave Art Postponed!

I have 3 totally unrelated things to tell you. First, the word on the street according to Facebook is that BraveArt Vancouver has been postponed!? This is horrible news. Hopefully it still happens. I’ll post news when I hear more concrete details.

*EDIT - The new date for Brave Art is: Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 7:00pm.

This Saturday (May 3rd) - 7PM) however, is Emily Carr’s gradshow! Head on down to Granville Island if you can, it will be packed as usual I’m sure.

“Platinum Edition” part means “you are buying an extra disc of crappy games that you will NEVER play”

Although the director style-jacked Wes Anderson he also directed Spellbound so he gets a pass. 7/10.

Incredible. I am almost more impressed by the “making of” featurettes.

Third, my new favourite site is RADAR. Their tagline is “Connecting filmmakers with music video opportunities”, need I say more? Ok, I’ll say a little bit more - they are the same people behind Radar Music Festival, filmmakers pitch ideas to record companies who want videos made to a budget. Simple idea, perfectly executed.
