Adam Lowe has illustrated for Nike, Lodown, and Wax Poetics. I only came across him recently and instantly became a fan of his work. This one in particular, reminds me of an Egon Schiele painting. I love the looseness of the work and his handling of hair.
Edmonton-born, Vancouver-based artist Jay Senetchko re-imagines the relationship of his late grandparents, specifically the domestic life of Senetchko’s grandmother who spent a great deal of time alone while his grandfather was away working in the Alberta oil patch.
