Parasol Dead

Happy Halloween everyone! The creatives at Parasol Island got together and shot a little zombie flick, Parasol Dead. Inspired by the great Italian D-movies of the ’80s and shot in a style they refer to as “highschool film class”. The film could have been cut down by a minute or so, but they nailed the look.

Coincidentally one of my favourite groups Evil Nine just released their new video for All the Cash featuring El-P, and it’s also a zombie flick. Sadly, the song is great but the video sucks. If Parasol Island had shot a shorter version of Parasol Dead as the video for All the Cash then we woulda had a real winner. Watch both of them after the jump – and I think you’ll agree with me.
