Radiohead with marching band!

Apparently I missed the Grammys the other night, I never seem to know when these big award shows are on. My only regret is missing this performance by Radiohead (just Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood) with the USC Trojan marching band.

I would love to hear the whole album performed like this. Amazing.

  • If you haven’t heard the string quartet tribute of OK Computer, please purchase it ASAP! It’s called “Strung Out on OK Computer” and — I know this is utter blasphemy — but sometimes I like it better than the original.

I was pleasantly surprised flicking through the channels and it came on. A little bit over the top, but great in it’s own right.

  • yea Strung Out was pretty cool, I remember really liking a couple of the versions alot – Exit Music was awesome I remember

  • i can’t say i usually enjoy ‘watching’ radiohead, but the usc trojan marching band brought it big time. i was in the band in high school before it was at all cool. i feel better about it, now ;).

  • yea i love that they were fully yelling in the background

  • yeah, you can see the smiles on the faces of the guys playing percussion.

  • OHMAN this was asuch a breath of fresh air for the grammys :) :]

Our friend Brendan Monroe’s show “Mammatus” just opened at Curator’s Cube in Tokyo. We stopped by the space last week and it all looked fantastic — a nice mix of drawing, painting and sculpture (especially loved the ceramics). The shows up until the 29th so if you happen to be in Japan go go go. Have a look at more images below!
