Radiohead with marching band!

Apparently I missed the Grammys the other night, I never seem to know when these big award shows are on. My only regret is missing this performance by Radiohead (just Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood) with the USC Trojan marching band.

I would love to hear the whole album performed like this. Amazing.

If you haven’t heard the string quartet tribute of OK Computer, please purchase it ASAP! It’s called “Strung Out on OK Computer” and — I know this is utter blasphemy — but sometimes I like it better than the original.

I was pleasantly surprised flicking through the channels and it came on. A little bit over the top, but great in it’s own right.

i can’t say i usually enjoy ‘watching’ radiohead, but the usc trojan marching band brought it big time. i was in the band in high school before it was at all cool. i feel better about it, now ;).

Photoshopped Selfie Sticks Replace Guns in Popular Movies

Untitled-1

Been seeing a lot of these selfie stick images circulating the net recently and was trying to figure out where they were from. The image above, from Terminator (the best I’ve seen so far) was shared on Twitter last year. Since then a Tumblr has popped up called Guns Replaced with Selfie Sticks sharing similar images from popular movies, and it appears they take submissions. More images below.

Animation: Yeasayer “Silly Me”

yeasayer-newmedia

Another fantastic video by New Media Limited for Yeasayer. “Silly Me” is the prequel to “I Am Chemistry”, and both have a wonderfully strange animation style. Watch it over on Booooooom TV.
