Illustrations by Dave Barnes. I first saw his work at a show I was also showing at, in Whistler last year. Fantastic stuff.
really hot! great couple of worlds inside. 😀
this is really great, kinda reminds me of some of nic klein’s work.
I liked his stuff too at BraveArt last year…Jeff, what did you have in the show? …sorry, there was lots of artists, I noticed that you featured Lauren Javor a loooong time ago on your blog. my (previous) employer sponsored her at that show last year, which was a fun project to work on – it’s always good some killer work at that show.
I heard it’s not happening this year!?!?!
anyways, nice stuff.
i showed the snowboards and prints in the third pic from the bottom:
i also posted about Brave Art whistler it was one of the first entries on this site.
yea brave art isn’t happening but essentially the same show is going on right now in Whistler under a different name – State of the Art.
also you can see some of Dave Barnes pieces at the Vancouver show if you follow that link i provided

I can’t stop looking at these paintings by artist Oda Jaune, who was born in Bulgaria and now lives and works in Paris. They’re just so weird! I love them. More images below.
Some fantastic work by Paris-based illustrator Nicolas Dehghani. More images below.
A selection of paintings by artist Amy Sol. More images below.
A fantastic ongoing project by designer Bertjan Pot. Started in 2010, “Masks” emerged from an attempt to make a carpet out of brightly coloured rope. See more non-carpets below!
