  • i like the page from the sketchbook that says “this page sucked” haha sometimes i feel like doing that to my sketches

  • reminds me of shigley’s stuff. Except with fine attention to little details that matter. simplicity at its best.

i am truly tired of crystals, i draw them all the time!!!!… please let’s just make a anti-crystals parade so we can move on to the next level. i vote for pork, as a replacement to crystals…

  • I love crystals but it seems everybody’s doing them today.
it’s like this invisible alien force took over the mind of every artist on the planet (including mine).
well, i guess that’s zeitgeist for ya.
I offer wool and ropes as an alternative.

I think this particular crystal design has been in some way associated with Nous Vous (Will’s collective) for quite a while now. It’s almost like their TAG. He aint no flash in the pan!

Sunwheel Made Up of Hundreds of Gold Plates

Moradavaga9

Portuguese-Italian collective Moradavaga have built a shimmering sunwheel for the annual Festa de São João do Porto (Festival of St John of Porto) in Portugal. Measuring eight meters in diameter, the piece is the result of hundreds of gold plates, fitted together in such a way that they move independently according to changes in wind and light, as well as rotations manually controlled by passersby. See more images and video of the reflective installation below!
