the first image is quite different from the rest – very staged, and i believe it is a group project.
though i like the other photographs the first one is way too much influenced by gregory crewdson.

I agree with Zoe. The first image seems distanced from the rest. Perhaps he was trying something new or like mentioned above, working with someone.
