  • For someone who doesn’t know a lot about cameras (as in me!) What makes this one stand out from the rest?

    • its got a crispy little lens that takes gorgeous photos and is one of those point and shoots that has a cult following especially in japan – much like the yashica.

  • hey hello, just receive the camera. I bought ot from price minister. i just have some question. Is that normal if when the camera is on “off” i still have the screen light on and can change the flash ?

    • its a bit slower than most point and shoots but great lens since i bought a contax t3 i haven’t been shooting with it much

Photographer Daniel Ranalli Spends Two Decades Capturing Snail Trails

“Spiral #9” (1996)

 

Massachusetts-based photographer Daniel Ranalli has spent more than 20 years on his “Snail Drawings,” a series which consists of one image of neatly configured snails and a second image of the unique patterns made when the snails were left to their own devices.

While a simple enough concept, Ranalli sees the project as a reflection of the inherent randomness of life and our inability to control the results or elements of a situation no matter how hard we might try!
