These are so lovely. They are making me feel all sentimental. Also I can’t put my finger on what it is but there is some sort of thread tying all these photos together. Really lovely.

  • His photos are great. Like the one of the dog – a bit Ryan McGinley like. And the one with the nuns. I do though think some of them would be better in b/w, but then again, thats just a matter of taste 🙂

    Good job James

  • has a great eye for mood and moments

  • the last one is aweasome !!

  • Such a great atmosphere .. I especially like the sixth picture 🙂

  • emily

the last one made me smile

i would like to think they are talking to eachother =)

  • Mila

This first picture is so captivating. It almost looks like a film still.

  • love the 1st and last, there all so great but those two really caught me.

Drones Capture Disparity Between Rich and Poor in South Africa

Lines6

Cape Town-based photographer Johnny Miller reveals distinct lines between rich and poor in a striking (and unsettling) series of photographs. Taken using drones, the aerial perspective presents the harsh reality of past Apartheid policies and the continued disparity in a way that can’t be ignored. Check out more images from “Unequal Scenes” below.
