  • Good morning to you too 🙂

  • Jessica

ha ha! “ohayougozaimasu” means good morning in Japanese. I know this from Big Bird in Japan. Have a great time in Ohio Jeff!

  • If you want to win instant points with Ohioans…

Yell out…”O-H!” And they will yell back, “I-O!”

    I know, it’s weird.

  • the “o-h”/”i-o” thing really only works in columbus. speaking of columbus, it’s worth a visit.

  • Drakeable

YAY! i live here! but near Cincy….
I wish i could come see your shingy! Good luck, have fun. hopefully us Ohioans are kind.

  • Shelby

I go to SAA, and you did wonderful! Loved your presentation! Only, I believe our school’s just a tad bit bigger than the barn, haha.

      • Owen Carstensen

My friends and I really enjoyed your presentation! Your a real inspiration to us artist in the pond of life.

  • Great job tonight Jeff. I really felt inspired from your presentation. I haven’t really been in the blogging arena too long (7 months), but I enjoy doing it more and more each day. It completely inspires me and promotes excellent artists and their work. It’s a win/win for everyone. I will take some of your tips and apply them to my blog adventure. Thanks again for doing what you do Jeff!

    • cool Justin, if you ever have questions just email me or add me on facebook and get at me on there

  • Hey,

Thanks for coming to Dayton, it was great seeing your work, hearing your story and chatting it up with you post presentation. Happy to say that I am definitely bookmarking booooooom and checking it frequently.

    Thanks Again,
    -AW

    • cheers anthony, im glad you came up afterwards – really enjoyed the chance to talk with you

  • Travis

hey im a student there! good stuff today jeff, thanks for sharing. your insight on google was actually very handy lol

    • haha i think that i went a little over board with the Google stuff, there is definitely info that people who are interested in blogging would really benefit from and i could have easily spoken for an hour just on that alone

      • The google stuff was good, a lot of people dont know how that stuff work… and prolly should.

  • Schaeffer

I drove down from Sandusky, Ohio (about a three hour drive) and it was totally worth the trip. If I am to convince the VCT program at my campus to get you to speak here, would you be interested in making another trip?

    • wow thanks for committing to driving out! definitely have someone at your school email me directly I have quite a few requests for the upcoming months so it will just be a matter of timing!

  • Jeff, Thanks again for coming to speak with the saa students. Both the faculty and students really appreciated your time and information. Keep in touch.

    • my pleasure, i really had fun doing it!

  • I was one of the students from saa. Thanks for the insight about blogging! Really helpful since I’ve gotten into that. I’ve had an experience similar to your youtube video. Only I posted an illustration on a blog site and few months later I found a girl who found the illustration and got a tattoo of it, haha. Thanks again for the inspiration and all the helpful insight.

    • hahaha that is awesome! did you email her?

      • Alyshia

Yep! I got in touch with her. And she told me she found a huge meaning in my work thus getting it tattooed. Really awesome how blogs can connect you to other people like that.

  • Brittany

I also came from Sandusky to see you, and all the information you provided was very interesting. I didn’t think you went overboard at all with all the google stuff. The above commenter and I both attend BGSU Firelands in Huron, ohio. And I’m sure there would be so many people who would like to hear about what you have to say. I’d definitely make sure i’d come see you talk again! :):)

  • Love it…

  • lapetitefaon

Siiiigh, the lack of updates is slowly killing me. ITS HOW I START MY MORNING! Hope Ohio was great!

  • Natasha

Glad you enjoyed your visit. Tangent speech was awesome. Props to you for doing what you do, especially all on your own – definitely inspiring. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay and chat, but booooooom.com has been on my top safari sites for months, i love it. Hope you’re not too jet-lagged & enjoyed the deceivingly not-so-small ohio. Thanks for visiting!

    ステイゴールデン!

    • thanks natasha, it was really encouraging to meet many of you and hear back from so many that are enjoying it. ill do my best to keep it rolling along

i left ohio feeling like a big bar of gold

  • jeffrey

Designed with a modular lens and shutter system, the lenses can be swapped in/out and longer exposure photos achieved using the shutter buttons along the top. More images of SLO below! You can also check out Dudley’s blog here, where he documented the entire project.
