Smile 2 Me

“Smile 2 Me” by Karolina. This proves a good video doesn’t need to be high concept (or high definition), it’s just a simple idea beautifully executed. Directed by Kutiman, the Isreali musician who went viral last year when he brilliantly remixed Youtube.

We’ve got a contender for music video of the year! Director Grant Singer takes a page out of the Nabil playbook in this surreal visual for Skrillex’s remix of GTA’s “Red Lips”. Fantastic set and costume design here; a terrific follow up to Skrillex and Singer’s “Burial” video, both of which feature the bone-breaking choreography and dancing of Brooklyn’s Adedamola Orisagbemi (better known as Ringmaster Nugget). You’ll wanna watch this one twice.
