  • adam amram

your blog is my fave art blog ever! its always got great shit up and running! keep it up please!

    • cheers adam, will do

  • On the whole this is way too clean for my own taste. But I like the tree branching out of nothing. I also very much like how the floating squaw swaddling doesn’t progress throug the comic frames. Having the comic frames provide non-narrative development of the theme is nicely meta and thoughtful.

  • I really dig the cosmic planet crafter with the third eye. Excellent concept! (Although the physiology of the third eye itself is vertical.)

Overall, I like your style; very clean, calculated with an aura of abstractity.

“Shroud” by Artist Douglas Goldberg

Alarm Clock

Love this series! New York-based artist Douglas Goldberg covers everyday objects beneath drape-like coverings sculpted from stone. Each of the concealed items, ranging from night-lights to a pill bottle, symbolize one of Goldberg’s personal fears. See more images from “Shroud” below or on display at Ulterior Gallery until February 26th.
