    Precioso! So beautiful.

  • DH

i am so confused by these. awesome

  • The fourth one is brilliant and reminds me of a photograph by Josef Koudelka. Can not remember where he took it. (Anyone?)

  • love love love

  • I like the use of everyday objects which have been manipulated into abstract pieces of art. My favourite is the fifth image, which looks to have a close up of glitter in the middle.

really great work, her collages really create a confusing spatial awareness, out of repeated images.

i spread the word on Wermers’ work as well:

A Camera Made from 32,000 Drinking Straws

Photographer Michael (Mick) Farrell and Cliff Haynes perfected a way of capturing images using a wooden box filled with 32,000 drinking straws. Started in 2007, and undergoing several different versions, the Straw Camera basically works by processing the light collected through each straw (as opposed to a pinhole camera which creates an image from a single point).

Due to the multitude of perspectives the resulting image looks a bit like a pointillist painting made up of many, tiny dots. See more images below or click here to check out the book recently released about the project!
