    are you just name-dropping or do you honestly not understand what freud’s work looks like? of course the jenny saville comment is spot on of course, but saville is interested in painting flesh and salgado is interested in painting like saville. it’s pastiche. i’m sorry if this is harsh, but this cult around the technically proficient feels so far away from truthfulness.
