I can’t believe it’s been two years since I worked on a benefit show in LA with my friends over at Yours Truly. I’d been a fan of Blake Mills for a while so having him and girlfriend Danielle Haim involved was a dream.

So when my pals at YT let me know they just filmed Blake performing an unreleased track at Mollusk Surf Shop I was equal parts jealous and nostalgic. Blake’s reputation as a guitar legend often overshadows his songwriting, but I think that’s what he was made for. Watch, below.
