So wonderfully imaginative; looks like an absurd and softened Normal Rockwell.

    Greetings!

My Name is Brian Brown. I can’t express how delighted I am to be featured on your website. Unfortunately, my name isn’t spelled as my mother first wrote it, making it difficult for me to share my joy with those that I love without raising a self-deprecative eyebrow. If at all possible, could the post please be amended to attribute my work to me–“Brian Brown”, so as not to mislead others (who may or may not appreciate my work) into believing that I was once an actor–famous for the movie FX, and other late 80’s cinematic mishaps. Again, I certainly appreciate the shout out either way.

    Sincerely,

    Brian Brown

Filled with colourful and chaotic images that blur the line between cute and creepy, what began as a commission for Japanese magazine Them, has turned into something of an ongoing experiment thanks to London-based publishers Katie Bagley and Ferry Gouw of New World International. See more images below.

Collages by artist Rachael Jablo, currently living and working in Berlin. Informed by the work of English botanist and photographer Anna Atkins, Jablo tears up photograms of flowers, piecing them back together to create new shapes and patterns.
