Music Video: Pillar Point “Dreamin”

pillarpoint-dreamin

All you filmmakers out there this is how you put a Red Epic camera and Leica lenses to good use. In my opinion, the visuals in this video don’t go with the music at all, but the visuals are so spectacular it’s still worth watching.

I just wish videos like this didn’t always veer into the territory of “look what we can shoot in slow motion” instead of actually considering the song or story. The snow scenes don’t really seem to fit at all, and actually they kinda make this seem like a lookbook for whatever jacket the guy is wearing.

I think it’s a lot better if you mute the video and listen to something like this. Watch “Dreamin” below.

  • Steven Radney

    that was perfect…with the music!

  • Maxime Servoise

Nice images but I don’t like the editing at all

  • Aaron Bumgarner

    Such great dance moves!

  • What it seems like to me is a disappointed/sad father figure and a son who wants to be a dancer.. is that just me? Beautiful video though!
