The bestest ever!
Woah, these are insane. They remind me of those huge Gregory Crewdson photographs, but cropped and made into portraits. So good!
These are amazing. The quality of the photos feel different somehow, but I cant put my finger on it. Very good!
I love the blue lighting in the top photo. They all look like they could be stills from a film.
Are these staged studio-like photos or are they more spontaneous? either way: astounding work… but if they are not staged the guy is not just brilliant but lucky as f*ck
Many of these aren’t staged. He’s just a lighting god.
some are staged, I have the book with photos 1, 2, 4, 5, he said he approached people on the street, offered them some money to take a portrait and had the lighting setup.
love it. one of my first photo books every purchased was his.
