Music Video: Childish Gambino “Sober”

When I interviewed director Hiro Murai back in November, he reminded me about director Daniel Wolfe’s videos for singer Plan B. There’s several of them, and they all seem to exist in the same universe. A similar thing is happening here with Hiro Murai and Childish Gambino, releasing this video for “Sober”, having already collaborated on “Telegraph Ave”, “Sweatpants”, and “3005”. I love seeing an artist and a director start to develop a language of their own.
