Music Video: José González “Leaf Off / The Cave”

So many strange moments in this video for José González, directed by Mikel Cee Karlsson. Apparently this weird church is a real place in Sweden, and the portraits in this video are of members of the congregation. Watch the video below.

  • Actually it’s not a church, it’s the auditorium of my old school in Gothenburg!

  • This had me thinking of Simon & Garfunkle. I’d attend any congregation that had music like his going on.

  • Naeem Alvi

I went to a Sunday service hosted by this guy at Wilderness Festival in Oxford last year. It was hilarious. Just loads of silly singing and hugging people.

The Sunday Assembly exists all over the world, they have one in Leeds, England where I go to university. I´ve never attended but hear it´s just a place for people to go and be happy and not be afraid of treating perfect strangers like best friends.
