The Most Creative Skateboarding on Instagram: Daewon Song [10 Videos]

daewonsong

Daewon Song is a skateboard legend (and was pretty much already a legend when I was a kid) and yet somehow his Instagram is more fresh and creative than pretty much everyone else’s out there. I wouldn’t call this a top 10 because his entire feed is insane but here are 10 clips of the most creative skateboarding being shared to Instagram right now.

Included here are things like a 360 double flip on a board without wheels, bearings only, a late flip with the help of a friend, and some manual wizardry. Whether you are a skateboarder or not this is pure creative inspiration. Enjoy.

“Happy Breakfast” is a psychedelic zine by set designer and artist Gary Card. Filled with colourful and chaotic images that blur the line between cute and creepy, what began as a commission for Japanese magazine Them, has turned into something of an ongoing experiment thanks to London-based publishers Katie Bagley and Ferry Gouw of New World International.
