A couple weeks ago I started trying out different classes so I’d know first hand if any of them were worth sharing with you. After poking around a bit, I can honestly say there really is some great content on the site.

I recommend the logo design class, taught by the talented Aaron Draplin. It’s pretty fast paced (I had to pause it a couple times), and not every keyboard shortcut is explained, but I definitely learned more from watching this series of videos than I did in most of my media classes at University.

There are hundreds of classes and many talented instructors. Jeff Staple teaches a class on branding (I haven’t taken this class yet), and Jessica Hische, who famously designed the Moonrise Kingdom type, teaches another one about lettering. I’m halfway through her class, and I’ve really enjoyed it so far.

If you never went to design school or you just want to brush up on some basics this could be what you’re looking for.
