I like these animated patterns by illustrator Véronique Meignaud, whom I’ve posted about several times now (most recently here). There’s a certain naivety here that I find really interesting, like she’s trying something new without anyone telling her how you’re supposed to do it. Watch below!
Despite being completely underwhelming, MGMT’s latest album has already produced two great music videos. The latest one, directed by Isaiah Seret, stars Michael K. Williams (he will always be Omar from ‘The Wire’ as far as I’m concerned) and Dennis Hopper’s son, Henry.
The song is whatever but the visuals, my god. Hats off to the DP, Bradford Young, this is a stunner. Watch “Cool Song No. 2” (a song title that actually makes me cringe) below!
