This is an outstanding animation, maybe the most engaging piece I’ve seen this year (despite being mostly text). BUCK directs this spot for ChildLine a free, confidential, 24-hour counseling service for children in the UK. It’s tricky to portray a heavy topic like sexual abuse without making it feel really heavy handed, but somehow they did it. I can’t remember the last time I saw something where the words felt this alive.

The trailer for artist Thomas Campbell’s new film “Cuatro Suenos Pequenos” (four small dreams) was just release and it looks fantastic. The 21-minute surreal skate adventure was shot entirely on 16mm and features Javier Mendizabal and Madars Apse, with music by Chiwoks. Watch below!
Richard Mosse talks about shooting his gorgeous new film “The Enclave” in Eastern Congo. The film was shot on 16mm infrared film and will be displayed as an absorbing five-screen video installation. It features music composed by Ben Frost, and cinematography by Trevor Tweeten. It’s currently screening at this year’s Venice Biennale. Who wants to fly me there?
Watch the video below! Incredible stuff.
