“How can we provide opportunities for kids to make real-life discoveries on their own instead of Googling and Youtubing everything?”
This is the question I posed recently to @smarturbanstage, an online project in which people question the quality of life in their own cities around the world. They found a really cool answer to my question in the form of Monstrum, playground builders from Copenhagen. You can read the article here.
You can now fly on Hello Kitty Airlines! Taiwan-based EVA Air has launched three jets: The Apple Jet, The Magic Jet, and The Global Jet. I love how ridiculous this is!
Heads up Vancouver, I have given the last of our Booooooom x Poketo wallets to my buddy Zach at The Juice Truck (Abbot St + Water St). Any juice or smoothie purchase gets you a FREE wallet ($20 value) but you have to ask for it, it’s not advertised anywhere!
The amount of wallets left may last a week or so? (just a guess.)
PS – Zach says they are open 11:30AM – 5:00PM everyday.
After 25 years of secrecy, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening has revealed to Smithsonian Magazine that the show’s fictional town of Springfield was actually based in… wait for it… Oregon!
Eventhough I stopped caring about the show a long time ago it was my favourite show growing up and revealing this is almost blasphemy! What do you think?
