Jean Jullien
Fantastic illustrations and paperwork by Jean Jullien. Just look at this first image – by my count there’s roughly 100,000 cool ideas in there.

Eric Tabuchi has just released a book, Alphabet Truck. The photos in the book represent thousands of kilometers of driving over a span of four years. I also snagged an preview of Alphabet Truck 2 (work in progress), and a look at his previous book, Twentysix Abandoned Gazoline Stations.
Before I started this site I had a much smaller blog on another site and Matthew Woodson was one of the first artists I blogged about. He is one of my favourite illustrators. I dropped by his portfolio this week and found a bunch of new work since I’d last stuck my nose in.
This would take FOREVER. This kid takes a page outta the Bat For Lashes video and recreates Guitar Hero on his bike with a bunch of his homies lending a hand. Prepare to be amazed. This should be the official video for Prisoner of Society by The Living End.
According to Fubiz, it was directed by Jaron Albertin.
I finally got around to listening to the Flying Lotus Essential Mix and it lives up to all the hype! This is experimental hip hop done right – a fantastic two-hour adventure. Flying Lotus hails from California and is signed to Warp (if you are familiar with Warp you will know what you’re in for). The mix fittingly starts off with Galaxy in Turiya by Alice Coltrane, wife of John Coltrane and Flying Lotus’ great aunt!
The Big Picture continues to prove it is best photo blog on the entire internet. They are currently posting 2008 in Photographs in three installments. Get over there to see the full-size photos, they are incredible.
I like this series of ads by ROCA Estudio. Maybe not the shark one so much but this first one especially – love the expressions on their faces (the bear too).
Some fantastic work from the supremely talented Berlin-based (Iceland born) illustrator, Siggi Eggertsson.
