Elspeth Diederix

These photographs by Elspeth Diederix are high up on my list of favourite work. She calls herself a photographer but her photos feel more like documentations of very site-specific sculptures and performances.

Fever Ray / If I Had a Heart

Incredible new video for Fever Ray’s If I Had a Heart, directed by Andreas Nilsson. Fever Ray is the solo project of Karin Dreijer Andersson, from The Knife (one of my favourite groups).

Thanks to Blair for the heads up.

Amy Bennett

Stunning oil paintings by Amy Bennett. At first glance they look like photographs of miniature models, which effectively forces you into an almost God-like point of view of each scene.

Adrian Tomine

Anyone who reads the New Yorker will be familiar with Adrian Tomine’s work. Love the sneakerhead illustration with the kid checking out the Unkle Dunks at Alife.
