Junichi Tsuneoka

Junichi Tsuneoka emailed me to say hello and I followed the link to his portfolio. I really like his little flyer designs – they have quite a unique style to them.

TimeSculpture

Brilliant new ad for Toshiba by The Mill. How did they do this? I am still trying to wrap my head around this one. It looks like multiple passes with a bullet-time camera setup.

Hand to Hand / People of Many

I recently contributed a photo to a wonderful project called, Hand to Hand. A whole bunch of really talented people donated images to be turned into postcards and sold by donation at shops around town. 100% of the proceeds go towards People of Many, a non-profit, literacy outreach program.

Heather sent all the contributors this great little book as a thank you for participating. I was happily surprised to find my work sitting along side another friend of mine – James Nizam.

Hit “more” for the full list of contributing artists and locations to pickup the postcards.

Damien Jurado – Caskets

Seattle-based Matt Daniels (thinklab) directed a gorgeous new music video for Damien Jurado’s song, Caskets. I haven’t been too impressed with the bulk of music videos I’ve seen lately but Matt Daniels’ cinematography alone is worth the 1.5 seconds it will take to move your mouse-hand slightly downwards to click the play button.

My pal Brian over at Shotsringout has a great little interview with Daniels as well.
