The Best of The Ricky Gervais Show

So how many of your listen to podcasts? I am like 99 years late on this whole podcast thing but my sister got me listening to Rick Gervais’ Podcast and it’s the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time – I actually laughed out loud, by myself. It is the type of humour that you can’t explain to someone else. It’s like trying to re-tell a Mitch Hedberg joke! Anyone know what I’m talking about?

The show is essentially Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (creators of the The Office) making fun of their friend Karl. Karl is actually what makes the show hilarious. I am convinced that, although he appears like an idiot, he is actually the brains behind the whole show. I was going to try and write out a couple of the parts that actually made me laugh out loud but like I said it just doesn’t work like that.

I’ve uploaded an mp3 of The Best of The Ricky Gervais Show. Try to listen to this and get some work done – It just won’t happen. PS – My favourite part is the CB radio part, hahah oh man.. MORE…

Richmond Night Market.

I heard several times over the past couple months that there would be no Richmond Night Market this year. Sad news for anyone hoping for a little taste of Hong Kong at home, commonly referred to as “The place to get BBC hoodies for $60″. I am happy to report that you will be able to get those Vietnamese DVDs, cellphone dongles, and fishballs, the Night Market is back every weekend from now till eternity the end of summer!

Youtube Challenge #1: Bad Film Scene.

I am posing a challenge – it’s really simple: Find a film scene worse than this one from Shark Attack 3. It doesn’t have to be horror but I think they’re your best bet. Leave a comment with your choice (provide “Youtube proof” or it didn’t happen). I’ll add your youtube videos to this post. Good luck…

Rest in Peace Luc Bourdon

The Canadian Press reported some extremely sad news today, Canucks defenceman Luc Bourdon was killed today riding his motorcycle in northern New Brunswick. He was just 21 years old and he had so much potential as the Canucks first round pick in the 2005 draft. I am shocked, this is so tragic. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

The night I killed Wile E. Coyote.

I had some friends over to cook up some burgers last night – I think this was like the sixth straight day barbecuing (am I the only one who barbecues right through December?) – another beautiful evening. I tried to take a photo of my own car but Dustin parked his 300 in the way.

Microwave Soap Grenade!

I was suddenly reminded of my failed Microwave Soap Grenade invention when I came across this great little invention called The Nana Saver!

It’s for people who are too small to eat a full banana and don’t want the leftover piece to turn brown. I myself am a small person (but not so small that I can’t finish a banana you a-holes!) and I often cut half a banana over my Vector cereal! This little invention would be kinda worth having, although I guess I could just be a man and… no not deal with the piece turning brown, I was going to say be a man and throw the other half in the garbage! Just joking Mother Earth!

Ok anyways, about my Microwave Soap Grenade! Check this out… MORE…

Gutterball 3000!

My friend Christina is headed to China and the other night there was a bowling fundraiser. We decided to go as “Team Sunglasses” or as Christina called it “Team Team Spirit” (she was studdering, but the name actually makes sense if you think about it… maybe?).

As you can see I am an awesome bowler. 1 pin in frame 1.
