Sophie Henson

Sophie Henson sent over some nice doodles. I particularly like the drawings that look like a bunch of random contents from my junk drawer. Sophie’s client list includes Stussy, CK, Levis, and H+M.

Facebook group!

I have finally started a Facebook Group! I originally started a Fan Page but Mark Zuckerman (aka the world’s youngest billionaire) really didn’t make the Fan Pages easy to promote so the Group will replace the old Fan Page. If you’re looking for a quick way to promote your own work or share interesting links, join the group and post to your heart’s content.

Hannah Waldron

Some fun little drawings by Hannah Waldron, another talented illustrator from England. Is it just me or has the UK experienced a bumper crop of recently graduated talent in the past couple years? It could be the fact that all the sites I go to end with “co.uk”.

Twenty2wo Magazine

Adam over at Twenty2wo just released the second issue of Twenty2wo magazine. You can view the magazine online, download it, and even purchase a printed version. He has some really great content (I have linked his posts a couple times) and applaud the extra effort he is putting in to make Twenty2wo a unique and inspiring experience for his readers.

If you are looking for daily photography/illustration inspiration Twenty2wo is a good place to start. A quick scroll of the blog and I’m sure it’ll be in your Google Reader in no time. I’ve stuck a few more images from Twenty2wo Mag #2 below:

Tauba Auerbach

I admit it. I have a design crush on Tauba Auerbach. Actually it’s not a design crush it’s more like genius-envy (wow I’m copyrighting that). The article on her in the latest RVCA ANPQ was so engaging I had to find out more about her. She is equal parts artist and math-enthusiast. I have always been a fan of logic-puzzles and lateral thinking books, and when I look at her work I get excited about it in a similar way.

Aaron Noble

I posted about Aaron Noble back in April and was happy to read an email from him recently, letting me know he just updated his website. If I could have any artist paint me a giant mural today, it’d be a toss-up between him and Anthony Lister. I could stare at this stuff all day.
