Booooooom Submissions / December

submit your work to booooooom

Thank you to everyone who submitted their work in the November Submissions post last month. There was so much good stuff in there, I’m still going through it all!

Big thanks also to everyone who left encouraging comments and upvoted the work they liked (it’s really helpful for me to see what you guys like).

So here it is, the December Submissions post! This is where you can share your work during the month of December. The comments are enabled to allow images so make sure post an image along with a link to your website.

Here’s our guidelines:

1. Please don’t flood the comments with a dozen images, just post 1 image that represents your best work along with 1 link.

2. If you see good work posted by someone upvote it so it appears at the top. This is not just a nice thing to do, it helps me see what work you actually like.

3. You can/should also encourage people who are sharing good work here! Comment on their posts and let them know you like what they’re doing. I really want to foster a community here, and this is a simple way you can connect with other people making work.

4. Keep in mind your post may not show up right away because it has an image attached. It may need to be manually approved first so don’t freak out and post a million times, once is enough.

“Ten Years of Monster Children” Book

Ten Years of Monster Children book

Monster Children recently had their 10 year anniversary and the Aussies commemorated the landmark with a gorgeous book. This thing’s huge! You can purchase it here.

Big congratulations to Campbell and company, a decade is a massive accomplishment. Their magazine was one of my biggest influences when I started Booooooom and when readers ask me about other sites to check out Monster Children is still one of the first I mention.

Take a look inside the book below!

Booooooom Submissions / November

November Booooooom Art Submissions

Last month I created a submissions post (see it here) as a little experiment. The post was filled with hundreds of submissions, and more than 1,000 comments. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the work (and I still have lots to post) but I was even more excited to see people encouraging one another. So lets try it again!

This post is a chance for you to share your work for the month of November. The comments are enabled to allow images so you can post an image along with a link to your website.

Here’s a few guidelines:
