At the risk of having you never come back to this site, I have compiled a list of 17 other sites to feed your creative appetite. Dozens more could have been added to this list (perhaps there will be a sequel to it). Most of the sites included here do not get the credit they deserve, and even the popular ones deserve even more attention. In no particular order:

These are my picks for the 5 best music videos of 2008. If you think you already know all five, I’ll tell you that Bjork’s Wanderlust and Radiohead’s House of Cards did not make the cut! We can argue about my decisions in the comments if you’d like. I’ve tried to track down a streaming version and a high quality downloadable version of each video. Here they are:

The trick to this video could have become tiresome pretty quick but there are so many well though out sequences that it stays fresh until the end. I love the part where the colourbars become books.

Mankind Is No Island

Sydney-based film makers Jason van Genderen (director), Shane Emmett (producer), and John Roy (music composer)  created an amazing short that just won $20,000 and Best Film at Tropfest NY 2008 (which I believe is the world’s largest short film festival). The best part is that it was shot on a total budget of $57, and captured using cellphones, nothing else!
