Björk Collaborator: Artist James Merry


Came across this great i-D article on artist James Merry who has been working with Björk for the past six years. He loves embroidery, so when he found himself stuck in New York missing Iceland earlier this year he decided to “fertilize” some of his clothing. He embroidered a glacier flower and moss onto an old Nike sweatshirt, and soon after that he’d completed a Fila mushroom.

Oh yeah, it’s also a 360° virtual reality experience, with Björk moving in and out of frame, requiring you to use the icon in the top left corner to follow her as she sings.
