See you at Pecha Kucha!
Tickets for tonight’s Pecha Kucha (Vancouver) sold out more than a week ago but if you got yourself tickets, I’ll see you there! I’ll be speaking LAST. Oh, come see me afterwards, I have gifts for you all!

Triangle Triangle was on my list of 17 sites to bookmark, and I guess a lot of you jumped over there because Jake sent me a beautiful gift as a thank-you for the traffic. Common Denominator is a great little collection of photography (hand-stitched spine!) not unlike the work posted on his site. Thanks Jake!
At the risk of having you never come back to this site, I have compiled a list of 17 other sites to feed your creative appetite. Dozens more could have been added to this list (perhaps there will be a sequel to it). Most of the sites included here do not get the credit they deserve, and even the popular ones deserve even more attention. In no particular order:
1. Triangle Triangle – A fantastic photoblog (my favourite on the entire internet). Jake’s tastes are really similar to mine.
Just a quick bit of personal news – the good folks at Hypebeast interviewed me about the release of my shoe for Converse and a bit of my personal background! Read the interview here.
In case you missed it, the charity/launch event is Thursday Feb 19th – Livestock (1709 West 4th Vancouver)! All profits from shoes sold that night will be donated to The Global Fund! Come out and support a good cause and get some shoes to boot (I’m not totally sure if that’s a pun).
Vancouver is finally getting some snow! Here I am looking very excited (and wearing the exact thing I am in every single photo on this website – it’s like I am a poor clown with only one costume). The reason I am excited is because this snowy weather can only mean one thing… (there’s a hint somewhere in this picture)…
Pencil Talk is your new favourite blog – well, for those of you still gripping the graphite on a daily basis.
Futuristic design and architecture. Some great photos by Canadian, Christopher Griffith. I need to know who designed this car.
Shaheena Pooloo is another great designer outta the UK, and the latest winner of our Best Artist Name award! (Previous winner…)
