The good folks over at VNA Magazine (UK) sent over their latest issue and it’s a great little publication! VNA stands for “Very Nearly Almost” and could be a reference to narrowly escaping the long arm of the law as the mag primarily documents street art.

Back in 2002 I came across a great issue of Shift Magazine (a now defunct Canadian mag similar to Wired) which featured clay busts of the whole Simpsons family. I loved them so much, I immediately tore out the pages and stuck them on my wall. They are actually still on my wall, and last month I was thinking about scanning them to put them up here but I realised I didn’t even know who had created them.

A few days ago – totally out of the blue – Karen Caldicott dropped me a link to her clay work and when I loaded up her site I was shocked – I couldn’t believe it. She was the one who had made the clay sculptures! I’ve been a fan of hers all this time and didn’t know it! VIEW THE FULL POST —►
