Beautiful series of photos by Eleanor Hardwick for the home project. I feel I have to mention that Ms. Hardwick was born in 1993 – you do the math. Ridiculous!!! I’ve looked at her portfolio long enough, where’s that tub of ice cream and all my Sandra Bullock movies? October 1st is the day I officially stopped trying.
New video for Omodaka’s Kyoteizinc is incredible! Directed by Hiroshi Kizu and featuring the beautiful dancing of Masako Yasumoto. Serious props to Mr. Kizu, although this proves to me once again: The editor > The director.
I see some similarities between what’s happening in Asia and what’s happening in France. Glitchy-pop techno and this editing style seem to be the craze right now! Like the new windrunner ad by Nike, so obviously influenced by Justice et al. (video after the jump)
I said in the previous post Evgeny Kiselev’s illustrations reminded me of James Paterson’s work (which I hadn’t looked at for some time) but I just realised the work on his site right now isn’t really the work I was referring to. This video is more representative of the work that immediately jumped to mind when I first looked at Kiselev’s stuff.
Paterson really became known for his brain hemorrhage inducing flash animations which were often set to the amazing music of K-rad.
Diplo remixed Reckoner, you can too. After the smashing success of all the fan remixes of Nude, Radiohead has made all the instrumental elements of Reckoner available for download. To kick things off Radiohead got Diplo (genius behind M.I.A’s album, Arular) to officially remix the track.
If you’ve been to Radiohead Remix then you already know the drill – make a remix, upload, vote. Listen to Diplo’s handiwork here: Reckoner (DIPLO remix)
