Yann Lebec
How about a collection of 1950’s film posters re-illustrated by Yann Lebec. No? Too bad! I’m forcing them on you. These are so AWESOME. I have to admit that I do have a little bit of an obsession with film posters.

Photography from Brooklyn-based Adam Golfer. For his series Kin* he spent seven weeks in Germany documenting young people and their surroundings, and he is hoping to continue the project in Isreal in 2009. Below are photos from Kin* and Cold Wind.
In honour of the torrential rain I drove home in, I present the photography of Robin Soulier. Puddles in New York and Paris never looked so good – love the framing on these shots.
I could use a little more knitted mohair and wool in my life. This little guy’s name is Squarey and he was designed by Jess Hutchison. Dude is just chillin, haha I love it.
Some startlingly poetic photography from Chicago-based, Jason Lazarus. He was a photography instructor at Columbia College and I believe he still teaches/lectures at various places. The cool thing about his site is that along side his work he includes a teaching section.
Land of the Free. A great series of portraits by Steve Schofield. I never really got into Star Wars but I did secretly watch Star Trek: The Next Generation quite a bit (You did too, YOU LIAR!). These days I’m not into Sci-Fi all that much, but I do love finding photography and other documentation of people that are totally emersed in very specific sub-cultures!
Ink. Acrylic paint. Colored pencils. Old books. The wonderful work of Mike Stilkey. Found this over at Mint – go pay Ellie a visit, her blog is one of my favourites.
Came across some great origami on Deviantart. This little camera was folded out of a single dollar bill! Also really dig the spider and the coi fish!
