Artist Cobi Moules re-creates NKOTB posters and trading cards, inserting himself into the group. As a transgender man, the project is both a nostalgic reclamation of Moules’ childhood obsession and a playful meditation on the desires of his youth. See more images from “New Kid” below!

This Boston m4w missed connections post begins: “I met you in the rain on the last day of 1972, the same day I resolved to kill myself” and you’re instantly absorbed in a very different kind of personals ad. In fact, whether or not the OP (“an old man now”) ever finds the woman who grabbed his hand and chatted with him over pecan pie at a five and dime one rainy New Year’s Eve becomes irrelevant.
I want to believe this is real but it’s too good to be true. Read the full missed connection below.
I’m excited to share with you this interview and exclusive mix for Booooooom by Garrett “Scooter” Oyama, aka Go Yama. I came across Go Yama’s incredible cover of Flying Lotus’ “Putty Boy Strut” a couple months ago and found myself listening to it over and over and over. This feature came directly out of my obsession with this song.
I’m always hunting around on Soundcloud for up and coming artists, and producers. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a feature like this, please share a link to a Soundcloud page in the comments! Listen to the mix and read the full interview below.
