Gorgeous paintings by Whistler BC resident, Lauren Javor. I had the privilege of showing my work along side hers as part of this year’s Brave Art Shows. I literally joined her fan club the minute I walked into the gallery and saw her work hanging on the wall.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support Brave Art at the Ayden Gallery on Friday! Great turnout – the place was packed ! Tunes supplied by Rico and Dana! What more could you ask for? Oh yea booze – there was a slight hitch in the drinks department when the license was revoked but everyone seemed to stick around anyways. After a little delay, Brave Art Vancouver has been confirmed! Friday June 13th 7-11pm at the Ayden Gallery (88 West Pender – Second Floor of Tinseltown). Have some drinks, hear some tunes, watch some live art, peruse the gallery. The Whistler Brave Art show was a blast and the Vancouver opening will be no different!
Brave Art opened on the weekend in Whistler and even though there was a big air contest on the same night, a ton of people still showed up for the show! (thanks sascha and steve for the camera work)
I showed a few canvases (two of which sold before I even got there!) and a snowboard from the 08/09 Endeavor line. Here’s my pal James aka sheOne telling me I did it all wrong.
