LoopdeLoop is a monthly animation challenge that has really grown into something cool. Each month there’s a new theme and animators from around the world submit their work. All of the animations are screened at a venue in Melbourne, and one winner is chosen!
One of my favourite studios, Rubber House, recently compiled the best of their LoopdeLoop submissions from the last couple years. They’re fantastic, watch below!
For all you puzzle people, I scanned this one just for you! I’ll mail a Booooooom Sticker/Button prize pack to the first 3 people to solve it. Take a photo or scan in the sheet of paper you use to work out your answer (as proof you did it) and email me the correct answer.
If you know the answer please don’t ruin the fun for everyone else! You are welcome to voice your frustration in the comments though! This puzzle took me roughly an hour to solve. Good luck.
It’s been a little bit since the mind-blowing success of the first Youtube Challenge – so here’s challenge #2. Find the best example of a “Boom” on youtube. Open for interpretation – the funnier the better. Leave a comment with a link to your choice. I’ll add your youtube videos to this post. Andrew Pancubit posted this first video on Booooooom’s fan page which gave me the idea.
Andrew P. – Haha this one will be hard to beat. Love the graphics on the giant video screen. Nice one Mr. P.
Rest of the submissions after the jump!
I am posing a challenge – it’s really simple: Find a film scene worse than this one from Shark Attack 3. It doesn’t have to be horror but I think they’re your best bet. Leave a comment with your choice (provide “Youtube proof” or it didn’t happen). I’ll add your youtube videos to this post. Good luck…
