Michael Wolf

“Copy Artist”, brilliant photos by Michael Wolf. Knock-off artists in China pose next to their paintings. I’ll take the Francis Bacon!

Plugzine #4

Plugzine is a stunning over-sized loose-leaf publication from Beijing, and this issue is all black and white photography. Unfortunately, it may be hard to get your hands on a copy as they do not have a working website. Send Ron Tau an email if you’d like some more information.

Giant Red Art

What is the first word that comes to mind when I say “China”? Whatever the word was, I’d venture a guess that it wasn’t the word “art” (or maybe it was art because my title gave it away). Well, there is a lot of change happening over in China right now and I found this little video over at Current quite interesting, as it offers a little peek at their growing contemporary art scene.

This great little video was produced by Ukachi Arinzeh.
