This is cinematic perfection, it’s truly one of the finest pieces of animation I’ve seen. I’ve praised Allison Schulnik’s animations in the past (here and here) but I think this film is her strongest work to date. It is absolutely gorgeous, and also terrifying, and I guess that’s sort of how I feel about all of her work.

Karen Caldicott

Back in 2002 I came across a great issue of Shift Magazine (a now defunct Canadian mag similar to Wired) which featured clay busts of the whole Simpsons family. I loved them so much, I immediately tore out the pages and stuck them on my wall. They are actually still on my wall, and last month I was thinking about scanning them to put them up here but I realised I didn’t even know who had created them.
