In my opinion, a good project allows people of all skill levels to participate and produces something worth looking at. Sometimes it’s tricky to do both. Erosie’s recent murals in Osaka Japan do both beautifully. By using paper to mask certain areas, he was able to have kids contribute in a way that was structured but also completely unstructured. The Fairy Tale project was started a few months ago by Gabrielius Mackevičius and Nerijus Rimkus. Artists add to an on-going fairy tale, supplying a new paragraph and an illustration. It is updated every few weeks and the story heads in a different direction each time. My friend Andrea Wan just added her part of the story!
Here is Booooooom Project #7! Alter a magazine cover! Find a magazine cover (a person’s face is a great starting point). Alter the image using pen, pencils, paint, scissors, whatever! Take a photo of your creation! No digital work – get off your computer! This took me 2 minutes, you can will do a better job!

Christmas by Colour is a great little project (not for profit) – in an attempt to portray the real Christmas colour spectrum you are invited to submit your own colour chip along with its personal meaning! The best entries will be made into A1 size posters!
