The Jeff Death series by illustrator Matt Lee is a set of covers for books that do not exist, by an author that does not exist. His intent is to “mythologize a fictitious author”, with the titles of the books (which come from old songs) offering up a sort of narrative of their own.

Fantastic mixed media comic book covers by Mark Todd. I love the really distorted ones, so raw and oozing nostalgia – obviously created by someone with a real love of comics.
