Changzhi Lee

Changzhi Lee has created an effective little brochure to raise awareness about global warming. It is folded up like an iceberg and, as you unfold the pages, you melt the ice and destroy the polar bears’ habitat.

Draw Anorak a happy cover!

Calling all students – my friends at Anorak want you to draw them a happy cover! But maybe you don’t want the exposure! Maybe you don’t want to have your artwork sitting on the shelf in places like the Tate Modern (they stock Anorak)! Do you? Get the full details here.

Erin Rommel

Beirut’s The Flying Club Cup album has been my soundtrack for the past couple weeks, I don’t really know why. And then out of the blue, Erin Rommel passes me some work and I find this little canvas book buried amongst some of her older (student) work.

Frankenstein / Ballets Russes

Not too long ago, I saw an image of this book on jjjjound and wanted to know what it was. By some magic, it appeared on my doorstep this week. Ballets Russes is a beautiful documentation of the Russian ballets that took place in Paris that moved ballet into the high fashion world. I love the drawing section! It’s a hardcover with nearly 350 pages so I’m sure the shipping wasn’t cheap – Huge thank you to Anton for your mystical mind-reading abilities and everyone else at, Frankenstein. You can purchase the book here.
