Ten years after the release of his influential album “Rounds”, The Creators Project profiles Four Tet (Kieran Hebden). Watch the video below!
When I posted Noah Rabinowitz’s photo series last week (see the photos here), I had no idea there was also a documentary film coming out!
Filmmaker Lotfy Nathan spent 3 years on the project, filming the wild antics of a notorious dirt bike gang known as the “12 O’Clock Boys”, in Baltimore. The gang’s name is a reference to wheeling the bike to the point you’re completely vertical.
The story is told from the point of view of Pug, a youngster from the Westside who wants to join them. According to the film’s website, it’s already garnered critical acclaim at SXSW and Hot Docs film festivals, and is set to be released in 2014. Can’t wait!

My friend photographer Will Robson-Scott told me a little bit about his documentary “Chi Raq” when I was with him in Australia earlier this year. It feels like it’s been a long time since then, so I was excited yesterday when he told me it was finally online!
This is an intimate portrait of life in South and West Chicago. I had no idea it was one of the most dangerous cities in America.

“Wonderland” is a terrific mini-doc about life as a creative, by filmmakers Hunter H. Richards and Terry Rayment. If you’ve ever struggled to find a balance between work that’ll pay your bills and work that you’ll be proud of, this film will really resonate with you!
The film features interviews with many of my favourite creative people, including director David Lewandowski. Watch the entire film below!
Gennadiy runs an orphanage in Mariupal, Ukraine, and for 13 years he has been going on night time raids to rescue, and even force, kids off the street. His methods may be a little controversial, but I can’t help but be inspired by this guy’s passion.
The team behind this film previously won the Grand Jury price at Sundance with their film “Blood Brother”, and now have composer Atticus Ross (known for his work collaborating with Trent Reznor on “The Social Network” and “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”) on board to score this film. The music you hear in this trailer was composed by Atticus and his brother Leopold Ross.
