Feist – The Bad In Each Other

“The Bad In Each Other” by Feist. As soon as I saw that this video was directed by Martin de Thurah I knew it was going to be a stunner.

Beck’s Record Club is a one of my favourite projects on the internet right now. A cast of musicians gather and record an album in a day, and the videos are rough, and unrehearsed, and sometimes incredible.

Feist performs her hit single “1,2,3,4″ on Sesame Street’s 39th season. There’s a bunch of new lyrics in this version which teach children to count to four. I realise the song was already called “1,2,3,4″ but this is a perfect example of how dumbed down television is now! We used to learn to count to 20.
When all is said and done, I respect Sesame Street for still trying to make learning fun. I just really really miss the old Sesame Street. If anyone needs me I’ll be in my trailer writing a hit song called “1″. I will also be writing a second version for Sesame Street that teaches children how to count all the way up to one, and in a few years time I’m sure that song will have to be replaced with an even shorter version.
So you say you’re a fan of Feist but you’re tired of listening to The Reminder. Well Lykke Li is just what the doctor ordered. Take two doses and call me in the morning. This is going to be my soundtrack all summer. The sound reminds me a bit of Candie Payne but this is 1000 times better (rough estimate).
