Awhile back my friend Corey won a film making contest and was given a million dollars to shoot a feature. So he got together with his friend Alex and together they created a wonderfully surreal little film called, Machotaildrop. The film is screening at Tribeca Cinemas (New York) May 21, and I have 3 pairs of tickets to give away!

This is where you scream ‘why didn’t I think of this???’ and jump off a bridge! Israeli musician Kutiman has crafted an album entirely from Youtube clips, and it is nothing short of brilliant. Dj Shadow, Mike Realm and Pb Wolf look out. Thanks to Dutch for the heads up!

Kris Moyes is quickly becoming one of the most exciting music video directors to come along in awhile. While none of his videos made it on my Best of 2008 list, they all seemed to have at least one section that got me hitting rewind over and over to analyze what he’d done.
