Veronique Meignaud

Artist illustrator Veronique Meignaud

Veronique Meignaud is my favourite illustrator living in Canada (by way of France). She has one of the most diverse portfolios I’ve seen, every page is bursting with ideas. A true master of both digital and traditional mark making. When I first featured her several years ago she was still living in France, now she lives in Montreal.

Take a look at more of her work below!

Yué Wu for Absolut Art-Stream

Artist Yue Wu for Absolut
Parisian artist Yué Wu produced 60 hand-painted bottles for the launch of Absolut Art-Stream. The bottles were photographed and placed in sequence, and the result is a gorgeous animation. I have to say, I know quite a few creative people and out of all of them Yué may be the most talented. Watch the video below!

Remake of 1982 World Cup

In honour of the World Cup, I present you with the greatest video on the entire internet! “Refait” is a remake of the 1982 World Cup match between France and Germany. Every detail of the fifteen last minutes of the match was painstakingly reconstructed by Pied La Biche. The sheer pointlessness of it all is hilarious. Enjoy.
