Once again our sponsor this week is Craftsy which provides resources for creatives in the form of videos and tutorials. We’ve teamed up to offer a Free Portrait Drawing Class that teaches you how to capture a likeness; things like mapping the face, refining shapes, and drawing different variations. This is worth checking out if you want to pick up some fundamentals, the best part being the fact that it costs nothing.

Craftsy: Figure Drawing Class

This week our sponsor is once again Craftsy which provides resources for creatives in the form of videos and tutorials. It’s been nice to find a sponsor that’s a good fit for what I’m trying to do with Booooooom; making art accessible.

Craftsy is offering a Free Figure Drawing class that teaches you the basics; things like blocking in, contour lines, and methods for describing light and shadow. If you skipped art school altogether this is worth checking out if you want to pick up some fundamentals. The best part being it costs nothing.

If you want, sign up for the free Figure Drawing class.

Craftsy: Figure Drawing Class

craftsy-lifedrawing-02

This is a sponsored post for Craftsy which provides educational videos for creatives. I wouldn’t publish this if I hadn’t tried out this class myself and felt it was worth your time. I work hard to find sponsors that are a fit and turn down a lot of opportunities that aren’t.

Craftsy is offering a Free Figure Drawing class that teaches you the basics; things like blocking in, contour lines, and methods for describing light and shadow. I’ve actually wanted to do a series of tutorial videos for Booooooom with different artists (something I might still do) for people who haven’t gone to art school. Anyways, I think it’s definitely worth checking out if you want to brush up on some fundamentals. I learned a couple tricks from the videos and it cost me nothing.

If you want, sign up for the free Figure Drawing class.
