Bright and colourful series of 3D illustrations by London-based artist Rose Pilkington. Pilkington studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins. See more images below.
Fantastic re-imaginings of modern movie releases, spliced together with actors and elements from older films. With a B.A. in Film and Digital Media, New York-based graphic designer/illustrator Peter Stults spends much of his time critiquing movie posters and (lucky for us) creating his own.
Check out more images from the fifth volume of his ongoing project “What If: Movies ReImagined for Another Time and Place” below! Which of these films would you wanna see?
Wonderful portrait of artist, Geoff McFetridge, by Dress Code. The short video gives great insight into how McFetridge approaches his own work as well as a peek into some of the preparation that went into his current show, “It Looks Like it Says” (on view at Joshua Liner Gallery until October 10th). File Magazine is without question the coolest publication to show up on my doorstep thus far. I love large-format mags and this bi-annual publication outta the UK is roughly 12″ x 15.5″. The cover is a thick card stock and the inside pages are actually newsprint, but don’t come across cheap like you’d think. The page layouts are beautifully minimal – this thing is a real work of art. This first issue comes with a limited print by Geoff McFetridge and a DVD with over two hours of shorts films, music videos and interviews. In short, this magazine is legit!
